GRADUATION Congratulations to the Northwest High School Class of 2026! Commencement ceremony will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, May 10th, in Rosencrants Gymnasium. Seating is first come first serve. Doors will open at 1:00pm.

FCCLA Students and staff: If you are looking for a creative and inexpensive gift to give a senior, the NW FCCLA chapter is sponsoring a "Kiss the Seniors Goodbye" gift bag of Hershey Kisses with a note from you. Place your order and complete your memo tag by Friday, May 1. If you need one or more, stop by Mrs. Nelson's classroom to pick up the note tag.

CROSS COUNTRY There will be a short meeting after school on Thursday, May 7th, in Mr. Sullivan's classroom - room 535 - for anyone interested in going out for Cross Country. They will be discussing summer expectations and the schedule for the upcoming season. If you have any questions, please email Coach Hope - jhope@ginorthwest.org.


JUNIORS Juniors - This is an important reminder about getting your fingerprints done for next year. Please stop by the central office during advisement to have your fingerprints taken. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Hudnall in the central office.


FCA FCA will have their final Breakfast Bible Study Wednesday May 6th at 7:20 AM in the Library. Join for food, faith fellowship and fun!


LOST & FOUND Reminder about the lost and found items we have here by the central office. If you've lost something, please take a moment to stop by and see if it's here. Any items that are not claimed by the last day of school will be donated to Goodwill.


SPORTS PHYSICALS Northwest sports physicals will be held on Monday, May 11th, at the High School. The physicals will take place from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. These physicals are for all students entering 8th through 12th grade.

Important reminders:

    Physical Form: Please complete the physical form and bring it with you on the day of the physical.
    Cost: The cost is $25.00 per physical. Payment can be made with cash or check only.
    Checks: If paying by check, please make it payable to Dr. Vettel.
    Hydration: Athletes should be well-hydrated for their physical.
    Requirement: Any student planning to try out for an athletic activity during the 2026-2027 school year must have a current physical on file before their specific sports season begins.
